Unlike many Bio-One offices across the country, many of our calls come from family members who do not reside in the Fort Myers-Port Charlotte-Naples area. They are always at a loss as to how to deal with the situation from so far away. As always Bio-One Fort Myers is here to “Help First, Business Second”. Some of the calls we have received from family members afar include hoarding help for a loved one, CDiff, MRSA decontaminations, Feces Cleanup and the loss of a loved one due to natural causes or suicide.
Our goal is to help the family member through this process through whatever means necessary. We have driven to meet a family’s attorney to pick up the keys miles away and have even gone to hospitals. Many times, the loved one is in the hospital and we are there to get their home clean and sanitary prior to their return home.
The one question that most people have is what is the process. After asking them to briefly tell me what they are calling for, we will explain what we recommend for the next steps. We will help with coordination to gain access to the home if needed. We have coordinated with neighbors, attorneys, and social workers to name but a few. In all cases, we have been able to assist the family member although they are miles away.
If your loved one resides in Southwest Florida, please know that we will do our best to assist you in your time of need. Bio-One Fort Myers provides services for: hoarding, feces and urine cleanup, biohazard cleanup (CDiff/MRSA) and blood and bodily fluid cleanup.
